Presentation of Work Targets (Reception - Year 6)

Below explains the set of targets each year group aim to achieve:

In Reception to get a 'P' I must ensure:

1) I have formed my letters / numbers correctly.

2) My words sit on the line.

3) My letters and numbers are roughly the same size.

In Year 1 to get a 'P' I must ensure:

1) My letters and numbers are formed correctly.

2) My words are on the line, equally spaced and my numbers are in the boxes.

3) I have coloured carefully inside the lines.

In Year 2 to get a 'P' I must ensure:

1) My handwriting is consistent in size, on the line, correctly formed and joined.

2) The date is underlined.

3) The L.O. is underneath the date against the margin.

4) Numbers are in the margin.

In Year 3 to get  a 'P' I must ensure:

1) My work includes the date (underlined with a ruler) and a learning objective.

2) My handwriting is joined, of equal size, evenly spaced and carefully placed on the line.

3) Any drawings/tables/graphs are in pencil (labelled if appropriate) and a ruler is used where needed.

4) Activity sheets are trimmed neatly and glued in carefully.

In Year 4 to get a 'P' I must ensure:

1) My work includes the date (underlined with a ruler) and a learning objective.

2) My handwriting is in ink, joined, of equal size, evenly spaced and carefully placed on the line.

3) Any drawings/tables/graphs are in pencil (labelled if appropriate) and a ruler is used where needed.
